The given course has been conducted for the law enforcement officers in the area of irregular migration and trafficking in human beings within the framework of “Program of Cooperation in the Black Sea Region in the Area of Migration between the Countries of Origin, Transit and Destination”. The program was designed as a logical continuation of the previous program and directed towards improvement of capacities of relevant state institutions and CSOs in the countries of Black Sea region taking into account the consequences of global population movement in the light of irregular migration and human trafficking. Implementation of this Program envisages enrichment of the experience gained using the existing professional and technical capacities of PHDS and its Regional Training Centre including thematic reports and analyses, methodology, training modules, human and material resources, as well as the capacities of the currently operating Regional Training Centre.

The program is implemented in close cooperation with two partner SCOs, namely the KEPAD (Greece) and LaStrada (Ukraine). Recruitment of training course participants is conducted by the interested organizations from the Black Sea region which have the PHDS prior authorization.

Purpose of the Course : improve the capacities of criminal proceedings of organized crime in the field of irregular migration and human trafficking through education and improvement of professional skills of law enforcement officers.

Expected Results:

§      Improvement of professional skills of law enforcement officers from the countries of Black sea region: 90 law enforcement officers improved their knowledge in international and local legislation in the area of migration and trafficking and special tactics applied in legal proceedings of such manifestation of organized crime as irregular migration and trafficking in human beings.

§        Creation of electronic resource material base including training thematic curricula, modules, publications, video and info materials, etc.
